The Friends Foundation

Piedmont Counseling Collective, LLC would not exist without the incredible generosity of a close-knit group of friends who gave their time, energy, and resources with no expectation in return. In honor of their selfless support, we are proud to introduce the Friends Foundation—a fund dedicated to providing counseling at no cost to children and young adults in need.

Some services and community resources may be available for little to no fee ($0–$20), depending on eligibility and availability.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Under 18 years old
  • Uninsured
  • Underinsured (e.g. high deductibles, limited or no mental health coverage)
  • Unable to access public or private mental health support

🕊️ The Rockbridge Scholarship

At Piedmont Counseling Collective, we are committed to being part of the solution—actively working to dismantle the financial barriers that prevent many adults from accessing the care they deserve. The Rockbridge B.C. Scholarship was created to support adults who are unemployed, uninsured, or underinsured but motivated to seek mental health support and begin their healing journey.

Clients will be thoughtfully referred and connected to partnering clinicians and community agencies across the Charlottesville area to ensure they receive the most appropriate and accessible care available.

This scholarship is for those who may not know where to begin—but are ready to reclaim their strength, find clarity, and move forward toward freedom and healing.
