Piedmont Counseling is in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna insurance for individual counseling services. Please note that couples counseling is available on a private pay basis only, as most insurance plans do not cover marital or couples therapy.

Licensed Provider Fee

50 min Outpatient session: $150

50 Min Couples Counseling Session: $165

5 Session Couples Workshop Package: $650 ($130 per session)

Case Consultation: $100

Student Counselor Fee

50 min Outpatient Individual & Couples Counseling session: $40-100

Piedmont Counseling Collective is a CSA provider in the Charlottesville area.

Payment

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Most Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are also accepted.
Unless prior arrangements are made, all fees are due at the time of your session.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel a session, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will incur a late cancellation fee of $100. Thank you for your understanding!

Good Faith Estimate and No Surprise Act

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, clients who are uninsured or not using insurance have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges.

You are entitled to a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including related items such as medical tests, prescriptions, or equipment. If you'd like a Good Faith Estimate, please request one at the time of scheduling or before receiving services.
